The pendent installed Model OH-DC1 and the upright installed Model OH-DC2 nozzles have been designed specifically for effective and reliable protection of data processing equipment rooms/halls above and below raised floors.

Being specifically designed for the protection of these areas, VID Fire-Kill are able to offer the most environmental friendly and cost efficient solution on the market minimizing both water and power consumption while at the same time offering a robust and reliable solution using low water pressures that a commonly found in conventional sprinkler systems.

The FIREKILL solution is the market leader within FM Approved watermist solutions when it comes to features such as how close the nozzles can be located from cable trays and how much ventilation speed is allowed in the data hall/subfloor.

Product Approval & Scope

The FIRE KILLTM OH-DC1 nozzle has been successfully tested and approved to the FM5560 Appendix M, standard for FM Data Processing Equipment Rooms/Halls Above Raised Floors, while the FIRE KILLTM OH-DC2 nozzle has been successfully tested and approved to the FM5560 Appendix N, standard for FM Data Processing Equipment Rooms/Halls Below Raised Floors.

The nozzles are therefore a perfect match for most data processing equipment rooms/halls above and below floors.

Product Uniqueness

The Model OH-nozzle range consists of low pressure watermist nozzles with low water requirements and designed to function at low water pressures. When installed recessed, the Model OH-nozzles are capable of perfectly blending in with its surroundings due to their semi-concealed design and implementation of rosettes and coverplates supplied in any RAL color or finish.
The OH-DC1 and OH-DC2 nozzles have been tested with ventilation speeds up to 1.7 m/s making them a perfect match in areas requiring ongoing ventilation even in the case of fire.

The system utilizes the Automatic Low Pressure Water Mist Nozzles Model OH-DC1 and Model OH-DC2 which are patented automatic, fine water spray nozzles.
